12/30/2011 - Thursday’s farewell show at the TLA in Philly

I was lucky enough to have full video access to a band last week who shaped me more than any other band ever as they played their last-ever show in the US. Along with the also-amazing Mewithoutyou and a cast of promising young bands, Thursday proved as moving and special now as they were in my teens.

These are a few photos I snagged poorly with my phone while shooting with my other camera in case Epitaph actually decides to keep my footage and I can’t share it with you myself someday.

Anyone who grew up around NJ knows how special this band is. I can only hope people feel the same mixture of gratitude and grief that I’m feeling right now.
